Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLHL3 (Kelch-like 3) is a protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including protein degradation, cell signaling, and maintaining cellular homeostasis. Its significance is further highlighted by its association with familial hyperkalemic hypertension, a condition characterized by elevated potassium levels and hypertension due to mutations in the KLHL3 gene. The KLHL3 protein functions as part of a ubiquitin E3 ligase complex, mediating the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins, including ion channels such as ENaC (epithelial sodium channel), which are critical for sodium and potassium balance in the kidneys. Research on KLHL3 recombinant proteins enables scientists to dissect its specific interactions and cellular mechanisms, providing insights into its function and regulatory roles. Additionally, understanding KLHL3's structure and activity could facilitate the development of therapeutic strategies for related disorders, paving the way for potential interventions to manage conditions linked to dysregulated ion transport. Therefore, KLHL3 remains a compelling subject of study in molecular biology and clinical research, as elucidating its pathways can contribute to a broader understanding of electrolyte homeostasis and related diseases.
