Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITGa9, or Integrin alpha 9, is a member of the integrin family of transmembrane proteins that play crucial roles in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling processes. It pairs with integrin beta 1 to form a functional receptor that interacts with extracellular matrix components, notably tenascin-C, which is pivotal in various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue repair, inflammation, and tumor progression. Research has increasingly focused on ITGa9 due to its potential implications in cancer biology, particularly in the context of metastasis where it has been implicated in facilitating tumor cell invasion and the establishment of metastatic sites. Additionally, ITGa9 is expressed in various immune cells, suggesting its involvement in immune system function and regulation. Understanding the structure and function of ITGa9 at the molecular level can provide insights into its role in disease and may reveal novel therapeutic targets. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have made it feasible to produce ITGa9 in vitro, enabling more detailed studies on its interactions and functions, and paving the way for potential clinical applications in cancer therapy and immunology. The ongoing research into ITGa9 and its signaling pathways is vital for elucidating its contributions to cell behavior and disease mechanisms, highlighting the importance of further investigation in both basic and applied biomedical contexts.
