Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLHL23 is a member of the Kelch-like family of proteins, which are known for their role in mediating various cellular processes, including protein degradation, cytoskeletal organization, and cellular signaling pathways. Research on KLHL23 has gained significant attention due to its association with diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders and certain types of cancer. The protein is characterized by a BTB (Bric-a-brac, Tramtrack, and Broad complex) domain that facilitates its interaction with Cullin-based E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, suggesting a crucial role in ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Recent studies have indicated that KLHL23 may function as a substrate adapter, directing the ubiquitination of specific proteins involved in cellular stress responses and neuronal function. Investigating the structural and functional properties of KLHL23 as a recombinant protein could provide insights into its mechanisms of action and potential involvement in disease pathways. Understanding KLHL23's role in protein homeostasis and its interactions with other cellular factors could pave the way for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with its dysregulation. The synthesis and characterization of KLHL23 in a recombinant system allow for detailed examination of its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and functional assays, further elucidating its biological significance and potential as a therapeutic target.
