Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIF2 proteins are a subset of kinesin motor proteins that play crucial roles in cellular processes such as mitosis and intracellular transport. Research on KIF2 has gained momentum due to its involvement in critical cellular mechanisms, particularly in the regulation of microtubule dynamics. KIF2A, for example, is known to function as a depolymerase, which is essential for maintaining proper spindle assembly during cell division. Dysregulation of KIF2 proteins has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, where abnormal microtubule dynamics can lead to improper cell division and tumor progression. Studies have focused on understanding the structural and functional properties of KIF2 proteins, including their interaction with microtubules and other cellular components. Recombinant KIF2 proteins have been produced to facilitate in vitro studies, allowing researchers to elucidate their specific mechanisms of action and potential roles in disease pathology. This growing body of research aims to uncover therapeutic targets linked to KIF2 dysfunction, shedding light on how modulation of these proteins could lead to novel treatments for diseases characterized by abnormal cell division and motility.
