Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PIK3R2, the gene encoding the p85-beta regulatory subunit of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K), has garnered significant attention in biomedical research due to its pivotal role in various cellular processes, including growth, metabolism, and apoptosis. Mutations and dysregulation of PIK3R2 have been implicated in several human diseases, particularly cancer and obesity-related disorders. The p85-beta subunit is crucial for modulating the activity of the p110 catalytic subunit, thereby influencing the PI3K signaling pathway, which is frequently activated in tumors. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional aspects of PIK3R2 is essential for developing targeted therapies aimed at inhibiting aberrant PI3K signaling. Researchers have increasingly focused on producing recombinant PIK3R2 proteins to investigate its biochemical properties and interactions with other cellular components. These studies are vital for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying PIK3R2's involvement in disease and for identifying potential therapeutic targets. By generating and characterizing PIK3R2 recombinant proteins, scientists aim to provide insights that could lead to innovative strategies for treating diseases associated with PI3K pathway dysregulation.
