Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLRC2, a member of the KLR (killer cell lectin-like receptor) family, is primarily expressed in natural killer (NK) cells and certain T-cell subsets, playing a crucial role in the immune response. This receptor is involved in recognizing and binding to MHC class I molecules, which are pivotal for the regulation of immune responses, particularly in distinguishing between healthy and infected or malignant cells. Research has shown that KLRC2 contributes to NK cell activation and cytotoxicity, influencing their ability to target and eliminate tumor cells. Given its significant role in immune surveillance, KLRC2 is of great interest in cancer immunotherapy and the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing NK cell-mediated responses. Recombinant KLRC2 proteins enable a deeper understanding of the receptor’s structure-function relationships, allow for the exploration of its interactions with ligands, and facilitate the development of potential applications in treating various malignancies. Furthermore, studying KLRC2 can provide insights into the mechanisms of immune evasion by tumors, thus paving the way for innovative therapeutic approaches that leverage the body’s own immune system against cancer. The production of KLRC2 recombinant proteins, along with continued research into their functionalities, remains pivotal for advancing both basic immunology and clinical applications in the context of cancer and infectious diseases.
