Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL6ST, also known as the Interleukin-6 signal transducer or gp130, plays a critical role in the signaling pathways of various cytokines, particularly those in the IL-6 family. This protein is essential for mediating the effects of IL-6, IL-11, and other related cytokines, influencing diverse biological processes such as inflammation, immune response, and cell survival. Given its pivotal role in these pathways, dysregulation of IL6ST has been implicated in a range of diseases, including cancers, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions. Research on IL6ST recombinant proteins has gained momentum as scientists explore their potential therapeutic applications. By generating recombinant IL6ST, researchers aim to better understand its structure-function relationships and its interaction with cytokine receptors. These studies can lead to novel strategies for targeting IL6ST signaling in disease treatment. Furthermore, recombinant IL6ST can be utilized in drug development to enhance the efficacy of therapies that manipulate immune responses. Overall, the study of IL6ST recombinant proteins not only deepens our understanding of cytokine signaling networks but also holds promise for new therapeutic avenues in managing various health conditions.
