Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IMPA1, or Inositol Monophosphatase 1, is an important enzyme in the inositol phosphate metabolism pathway, playing a critical role in cellular signaling processes that regulate various physiological functions. The significance of IMPA1 has garnered attention due to its involvement in several neurological disorders, including bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder, where altered inositol signaling has been implicated. Researchers have focused on recombinant IMPA1 protein to better understand its structure and function, enabling the investigation of its enzymatic activity and interaction with various ligands. Recombinant protein studies facilitate the exploration of potential inhibitors that could serve as therapeutic agents. Furthermore, by examining the post-translational modifications of IMPA1, researchers aim to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms that govern its activity in different cellular contexts. Consequently, the study of recombinant IMPA1 is not only pivotal in understanding the enzyme's role in health and disease but also holds promise for the development of new treatments targeting mood disorders and other conditions associated with inositol signaling dysregulation.
