稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CA13, or Carbonic Anhydrase 13, is a member of the carbonic anhydrase enzyme family that plays a crucial role in catalyzing the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide into bicarbonate and protons. Research on CA13 has gained significance due to its potential involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including acid-base balance, ion transport, and metabolic regulation. Unlike other carbonic anhydrases, CA13 is primarily expressed in the brain and has been implicated in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative diseases. Investigations into its structure and function could unveil its unique mechanisms and roles in the central nervous system. Additionally, the modulation of CA13 activity presents promising avenues for therapeutic interventions in conditions where carbon dioxide and bicarbonate homeostasis are disrupted. The recombinant production of CA13 allows for advanced studies on its enzymatic characteristics, interactions, and potential inhibitors or activators, thereby providing valuable insights into its biological significance and therapeutic potential. As research progresses, CA13 stands as a compelling target for both fundamental science and clinical applications, making its study vital in the broader context of carbonic anhydrases and their multifaceted roles in human health.
