Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Glypican-3 (GPC3) is a heparan sulfate proteoglycan that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and the regulation of the Wnt signaling pathway. Its expression is notably elevated in several tumors, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma and Wilm's tumor, making GPC3 an attractive target for cancer immunotherapy and diagnostics. The study of recombinant GPC3 protein has gained attention due to its potential applications in developing targeted therapies and vaccines. Researchers are exploring the use of GPC3-targeted monoclonal antibodies and CAR T-cell therapies, which harness the immune system to selectively attack cancer cells expressing GPC3. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of recombinant GPC3 can provide insights into its role in tumorigenesis and how it can be manipulated for therapeutic benefit. The generation of recombinant GPC3 proteins through expression systems enables the study of its interactions with ligands and other cell surface proteins, which is crucial for designing effective interventions. Additionally, the development of GPC3-based biomarkers could enhance early detection and diagnosis of GPC3-positive malignancies. As research progresses, GPC3 continues to emerge as a pivotal target in the field of cancer biology, highlighting its relevance in both therapeutic and diagnostic strategies.
