Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Prolactin (Prl) is a multifunctional hormone primarily produced in the pituitary gland, playing crucial roles in lactation, reproductive health, and immune regulation. Abnormal levels of Prl are associated with various clinical conditions, such as prolactinomas, infertility, and metabolic disorders. The study of recombinant Prl proteins has gained significant attention due to their potential applications in both basic and clinical research. Recombinant technologies allow for the production of Prl with consistent quality and biological activity, facilitating the exploration of its mechanisms of action. Furthermore, recombinant Prl can be utilized in therapeutic applications to treat conditions linked to Prl dysregulation. By enabling detailed investigation of Prl’s biochemical pathways and interactions, recombinant protein research is advancing our understanding of its role in health and disease, paving the way for novel treatment strategies and improved diagnostic tools. This area of research is not only essential for endocrine biology but also holds promise for therapeutic innovations in reproductive medicine and beyond.
