Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
JARID1D, a member of the Jumonji C domain-containing protein family, plays a crucial role in epigenetic regulation by functioning as a histone demethylase. It specifically targets di- and tri-methylated lysine residues on histone H3, thereby influencing gene expression and chromatin architecture. Research has highlighted its involvement in key biological processes, including development, stem cell maintenance, and cancer progression. JARID1D is particularly expressed in testicular tissues, indicating potential roles in male germ cell development and fertility. Abnormal expression or mutation of JARID1D has been linked to various diseases, suggesting that it may serve as a therapeutic target. The generation of recombinant JARID1D protein is critical for investigating its biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and interaction with other chromatin-modifying complexes. This protein can be utilized in enzymatic assays and structural studies to further elucidate its functional mechanisms. Understanding the role of JARID1D in gene regulation could provide insights into its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in cancers and other disorders associated with epigenetic dysregulation.
