Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ISOC1 (isocitrate dehydrogenase 1) is a crucial enzyme involved in the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, playing a significant role in cellular metabolism by catalyzing the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to α-ketoglutarate. Its activity is tightly regulated and essential for maintaining energy production and metabolic homeostasis in cells. Recent research has highlighted the importance of ISOC1 in various physiological processes and its implications in several disease states, particularly cancer. Mutations in ISOC1 have been associated with altered metabolic pathways that promote tumorigenesis, making it a potential biomarker for cancer progression and a target for therapeutic interventions. The production of recombinant ISOC1 proteins has garnered attention for facilitating in-depth studies of its structure-function relationships, enzymatic activity, and interactions with other metabolic pathways. By utilizing techniques like genetic engineering and protein expression systems, researchers aim to generate high-purity ISOC1 proteins, enabling detailed biochemical analyses and potential applications in drug development. Understanding ISOC1's role in metabolism and its implications in disease could provide valuable insights into novel therapeutic strategies, positioning it as an important focus within metabolic disease and cancer research.
