Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IRX5 (Iroquois Class Homeodomain Protein 5) is a member of the Iroquois gene family, which plays a crucial role in embryonic development, tissue specification, and the regulation of various cellular processes. Research has indicated that IRX5 is involved in the development of specific organs, including the heart and brain, and is implicated in several developmental disorders. Additionally, recent studies have suggested that IRX5 may have a role in tumorigenesis and cancer progression, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Notably, the characterization of IRX5 as a recombinant protein allows for in-depth studies of its molecular functions, interactions, and structural properties. This research is fundamental to understanding the biological significance of IRX5 and its potential implications in health and disease. By using techniques such as protein expression, purification, and functional assays, scientists can elucidate the pathways regulated by IRX5, paving the way for the development of novel treatments for conditions associated with its dysregulation. Overall, the study of IRX5 recombinant protein offers valuable insights into both developmental biology and oncology, highlighting the importance of this protein in various physiological and pathological contexts.
