Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IRX3 (Iroquois homeobox 3) is a member of the Iroquois homeobox gene family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including development, cell differentiation, and metabolic regulation. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the regulation of energy homeostasis and adipogenesis, linking it to obesity and metabolic disorders. IRX3 is predominantly expressed in the hypothalamus and adipose tissues, areas critical for hunger signaling and energy balance. Research has indicated that variations in the IRX3 gene may influence body mass index (BMI) and predisposition to obesity, making it a promising target for understanding weight regulation. The recombinant IRX3 protein has been generated to investigate its functional roles and interactions at the molecular level, providing insights into its mechanisms of action. This research could contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for obesity and related metabolic diseases, underscoring the importance of IRX3 in metabolic health and disease.
