Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NSP9, a non-structural protein from the SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV viruses, plays a critical role in viral replication and pathogenesis. As a member of the viral replicase complex, NSP9 is involved in the synthesis of viral RNA and is essential for the life cycle of the virus, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Studies have shown that NSP9 can interact with other viral proteins and host cellular factors, which further implicates its importance in the viral life cycle and host immune response evasion. The recombinant expression of NSP9 has become a focal point for research as it allows for detailed biochemical characterization, functional assays, and structure determination. Understanding the structure and function of NSP9 can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and facilitate the development of antiviral strategies. Additionally, NSP9 has been investigated as a candidate for vaccine development, given its conserved nature among coronaviruses. Research on NSP9 is critical not only for developing therapies against existing coronaviruses but also for preparing for future zoonotic spillovers. Thus, the study of NSP9 recombinant protein is integral for advancing our understanding of coronavirus biology and developing effective interventions.
