Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCNN1A, also known as the epithelial sodium channel alpha subunit, plays a pivotal role in sodium reabsorption in epithelial tissues, particularly in the kidney and distal colon. Mutations in the SCNN1A gene have been implicated in various genetic disorders, such as Liddle syndrome, which leads to hypertension due to increased sodium retention. Given its critical function in electrolyte balance and blood pressure regulation, the investigation of SCNN1A recombinant proteins is essential for understanding the structure-function relationships of this channel. Research on SCNN1A recombinantly expressed in various systems enables the analysis of its biophysical properties, interactions with regulatory proteins, and response to pharmacological agents. Furthermore, these studies can elucidate the mechanisms underlying pathophysiological conditions linked to SCNN1A dysfunction and aid in the development of targeted therapies. The production and characterization of SCNN1A recombinant proteins provide a foundation for both fundamental and applied research, paving the way for advancements in the treatment of diseases associated with sodium transport dysregulation.
