Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL28RA, a key component of the type III interferon signaling pathway, plays a significant role in antiviral immunity and inflammation. Interferons are crucial for the body’s defense against viral infections, and IL28RA specifically mediates the effects of Interferon lambda (IFN-λ) on immune responses. Research has highlighted the importance of IL28RA in various viral infections, such as hepatitis C virus (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), where its signaling may influence viral replication and the immune response. Additionally, genetic variations in the IL28RA gene have been associated with differential responses to antiviral therapies, making it a potential biomarker for treatment outcomes. Investigating the recombinant IL28RA protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its structure and function, providing insights into how it mediates cellular responses to infection. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying IL28RA's role in the immune response can pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies and enhance the efficacy of existing treatments in viral diseases. This research is particularly critical in the context of developing strategies to combat emerging viral infections and improving patient outcomes in chronic viral diseases.
