Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 family member 8 (IL1F8), also known as IL-36 gamma, is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a significant role in the immune response and inflammatory processes. It belongs to a subfamily of interleukins that activate the IL-1 receptor family, influencing various physiological responses, including cell proliferation and differentiation. The interest in IL1F8 has surged due to its potential implications in several inflammatory diseases, such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Research has shown that IL1F8 can stimulate the release of other pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, enhancing the local immune response and contributing to chronic inflammation. Understanding the structure and function of IL1F8 is crucial for elucidating its role in disease pathogenesis and therapeutic interventions. The recombinant protein expression of IL1F8 enables detailed studies of its biochemical properties and interactions with specific receptors. Additionally, IL1F8 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target, and thus, insights from recombinant protein research can facilitate the development of new anti-inflammatory treatments, making it a focal point in immunological research.
