Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IKZF4, also known as Helios, is a transcription factor belonging to the Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins, which play critical roles in the development and function of various immune cells, particularly T lymphocytes and regulatory T cells (Tregs). Research on IKZF4 has gained attention due to its involvement in immune regulation, autoimmunity, and tumorigenesis. Studies have shown that IKZF4 is essential for the stability and suppressive function of Tregs, which are critical for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing autoimmune diseases. Additionally, aberrant expression of IKZF4 has been implicated in certain hematological malignancies, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of recombinant IKZF4 proteins allows for the detailed study of its structure-function relationship, interactions with other proteins, and its impact on transcriptional regulation. Such research could provide deeper insights into its role in immune response and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic approaches that harness or modulate IKZF4 activity in various immune-related conditions.
