Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IKIP (IL-1β converting enzyme-interacting protein) is a protein that has garnered significant interest due to its potential roles in various biological processes, particularly in inflammation and immune responses. Initially identified as a critical regulator of caspase-1, a key enzyme in the maturation of pro-inflammatory cytokines, IKIP is thought to modulate the activity of inflammasomes, which are multi-protein complexes that play a crucial role in the body's defense against pathogens. Research has shown that IKIP interacts with several signaling pathways, influencing the activation and regulation of inflammatory responses. Moreover, aberrations in IKIP expression and function have been linked to numerous pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and cancer, highlighting its significance as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on elucidating the structural properties and molecular mechanisms of IKIP, paving the way for potential interventions that can manipulate its activity to restore normal inflammatory responses. Understanding the complex interplay between IKIP and various cellular processes could provide valuable insights into novel therapeutic strategies, making it a prominent subject of research within the field of immunology and molecular biology.
