Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRELID3B, a member of the prelamin A/C and lamin B receptor family, is a protein that plays a significant role in cellular processes related to lipid metabolism and membrane dynamics. Research has indicated that PRELID3B is primarily localized in the mitochondria and is involved in the regulation of mitochondrial structure and function. Recent studies have suggested that PRELID3B may participate in lipid droplet formation and mitochondrial lipid homeostasis, which are critical for energy metabolism and cellular signaling. Additionally, its expression is linked to various physiological processes, including cell differentiation and apoptosis. Abnormalities in PRELID3B expression have been associated with certain diseases, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in conditions such as metabolic disorders and cancer. Given these implications, ongoing investigations seek to elucidate the precise molecular mechanisms by which PRELID3B influences cellular functions and to assess its potential role in disease progression and therapy. Overall, the study of PRELID3B presents a promising avenue for understanding the intricate relationship between mitochondrial health, lipid metabolism, and disease states.
