Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSTa2 fusion protein is a widely studied recombinant protein that plays a crucial role in various biochemical applications. Glutathione S-transferase (GST) serves as an efficient affinity tag for protein purification, leveraging its high affinity for glutathione. The GSTa2 variant is particularly noteworthy due to its improved solubility and stability, making it suitable for the expression of difficult-to-produce proteins. Researchers have focused on GSTa2 in the context of drug discovery, enzyme activity studies, and structural biology. The ability to produce large amounts of fusion protein facilitates the characterization of target proteins, including their interactions and functions. Furthermore, GSTa2 has been instrumental in overcoming challenges associated with protein aggregation and misfolding, commonly encountered in the production of recombinant proteins. By adding a GST tag, scientists can enhance the yield of functional proteins, ensuring better downstream applications, such as crystallography and biochemical assays. As innovative techniques continue to evolve, the use of GSTa2 is expected to expand, paving the way for advances in therapeutic protein development, vaccine production, and fundamental research in molecular biology. Thus, GSTa2 fusion protein represents a significant tool in modern biotechnology, aiding in the elucidation of complex biological systems and the advancement of scientific knowledge.
