Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IFI44 (Interferon-Inducible Protein 44) is a member of the IFN-inducible protein family, primarily known for its role in the immune response, particularly in antiviral defense mechanisms. Expressed in various cell types during viral infections, IFI44 is rapidly upregulated by type I interferons, which are crucial to the innate immune response. Research has shown that IFI44 can inhibit viral replication and modulate the inflammatory response, making it a significant target for understanding how the immune system combats viral pathogens. The study of IFI44 and its recombinant protein forms has gained traction due to its potential therapeutic applications, especially in the context of increasing viral infections and emerging diseases. Investigating its structure, function, and interaction with other cellular pathways could provide insights into potential treatments for viral infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. Efforts to produce IFI44 as a recombinant protein allow researchers to explore its biological properties in detail and assess its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic agent. Thus, the research into IFI44 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of immune responses but also opens new avenues for therapeutic development in infectious diseases and beyond.
