Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) is a multifaceted cytokine primarily involved in liver regeneration, tissue repair, and cell proliferation. Initially identified as a potent mitogen for liver cells, HGF has garnered significant attention in biomedical research due to its role in various physiological and pathological processes, including wound healing, angiogenesis, and tumor progression. The recombinant form of HGF has emerged as a valuable tool in research and therapeutic applications, enabling scientists to explore its mechanisms of action in cellular signaling pathways and its potential implications in regenerative medicine. In the context of cancer, HGF and its receptor, c-Met, are often overexpressed, leading to enhanced tumorigenicity and metastasis, making them crucial targets for novel cancer therapies. Moreover, the ability to produce recombinant HGF in controlled environments has advanced studies on its role in cellular behavior under both normal and diseased conditions. This research is critical for developing new strategies for treating liver diseases, enhancing wound healing processes, and improving cancer treatment outcomes, illustrating the broad significance of HGF in health and disease.
