Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HYAL4, a member of the hyaluronidase family, plays a crucial role in the metabolism of hyaluronic acid, a key component of the extracellular matrix that regulates numerous physiological processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and inflammation. The gene encoding HYAL4 was initially identified in a search for enzymes involved in hyaluronic acid degradation. Over the years, research has uncovered its involvement in various pathological conditions, such as cancer progression, where altered hyaluronic acid levels can affect tumor behavior and immune response. Moreover, HYAL4's unique enzymatic properties suggest it may have therapeutic potential in treating diseases characterized by hyaluronic acid dysregulation. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of HYAL4 to elucidate its biochemical characteristics and its potential applications in clinical settings. By producing recombinant HYAL4, researchers aim to better understand its role in cell signaling and the extracellular matrix turnover, potentially paving the way for novel interventions in diseases where hyaluronic acid plays a pivotal role. This ongoing research highlights not only the importance of HYAL4 in health and disease but also its potential as a target for drug development, marking a significant step forward in the field of biomedical research.
