Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL28A, a member of the interferon lambda family, plays a critical role in the immune response, particularly in the context of viral infections and autoimmune diseases. Its ability to modulate the innate immune response has drawn significant attention in medical research, especially concerning its therapeutic potential. Researchers have been exploring IL28A recombinant proteins for their application in antiviral therapy, particularly for hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment, as IL28A has been associated with favorable outcomes in response to therapy. The study of IL28A has revealed its mechanisms of action, including the activation of signaling pathways that lead to the expression of antiviral genes, enhancing the host's defense mechanisms. Additionally, genetic studies have highlighted polymorphisms in the IL28A gene that influence individual responses to both infection and treatment, underscoring its importance in personalized medicine. As a result, recombinant IL28A proteins are being investigated not only for their direct antiviral properties but also for their potential to synergize with other therapeutic agents. Given the increasing burden of viral diseases globally, understanding and leveraging IL28A's functions through recombinant technology could pave the way for novel treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.
