Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Havcr1, also known as Kidney Injury Molecule-1 (KIM-1), is a type I transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the body's response to kidney injury. It is primarily expressed in the proximal tubular cells of the kidney and acts as a marker for renal damage. The study of Havcr1 recombinant proteins is increasingly important due to its potential role in understanding kidney pathologies, including acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). As a key player in the repair process after kidney damage, Havcr1 is involved in cell proliferation and apoptosis, immune response modulation, and inflammation regulation. Recent research has focused on the functional characterization of Havcr1 and its signaling pathways, as well as its interactions with various ligands, which can provide insights into kidney disease mechanisms. Furthermore, the generation of recombinant Havcr1 proteins offers a valuable tool for both in vitro and in vivo studies, facilitating the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating kidney injury and promoting repair. These studies contribute to a better understanding of the molecular underpinnings of renal pathology and hold promise for the identification of novel biomarkers and treatment options for kidney-related disorders.
