稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PP13, or placental protein 13, is a member of the galectin family and plays a significant role in early pregnancy and fetal development. It is primarily expressed in the placenta and is involved in various biological processes, including immunomodulation, cell adhesion, and apoptosis. Research has shown that PP13 can influence the maternal immune response to the fetus, promoting tolerance and reducing the risk of pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia and miscarriage. The study of recombinant PP13 protein has gained traction due to its potential applications in clinical diagnostics and therapeutic interventions. By producing PP13 in a recombinant form, researchers aim to explore its functional properties, molecular mechanisms, and interaction with immune cells. This has implications not only for understanding placental biology but also for advancing reproductive health. Furthermore, the identification of PP13 as a biomarker in maternal serum has opened new avenues for prenatal screening, enhancing early detection of pregnancy-related disorders. Continued research on recombinant PP13 may pave the way for innovative treatments to improve pregnancy outcomes and address challenges associated with reproductive health.
