Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HRMT1L2, or Histone-arginine Methyltransferase 1 Like 2, is a key enzyme involved in the post-translational modification of histones, specifically in the methylation of arginine residues. This modification plays a critical role in regulating gene expression, chromatin structure, and various cellular processes, including development, differentiation, and response to stress. Dysregulation of arginine methylation has been linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting the importance of understanding HRMT1L2's function. Studies have demonstrated that HRMT1L2 interacts with various protein partners and is implicated in complex molecular pathways. Since its discovery, researchers have focused on characterizing this protein through recombinant expression systems to study its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and biological implications. The production of HRMT1L2 as a recombinant protein facilitates detailed analyses of its structure-function relationships, potential as a therapeutic target, and role in epigenetic regulation. By investigating HRMT1L2, scientists aim to unravel its contributions to cellular homeostasis and its potential impact on human health, thus paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies against diseases associated with arginine methylation anomalies.
