Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PEX3 (Peroxisomal Biogenesis Factor 3) plays a critical role in the formation and maintenance of peroxisomes, which are essential organelles involved in various metabolic processes, including the breakdown of fatty acids and the detoxification of reactive oxygen species. Deficiencies in PEX3 are linked to peroxisomal biogenesis disorders, leading to severe developmental issues and metabolic dysfunctions. Researchers have increasingly focused on recombinant PEX3 protein studies to understand its structure-function relationships and interactions with other peroxisomal proteins. The recombinant expression of PEX3 allows for detailed biochemical characterization and functional assays, providing insights into its role in peroxisome assembly. This research is pivotal not only for elucidating the molecular mechanisms of peroxisomal disorders but also for developing potential therapeutic strategies. Moreover, understanding PEX3’s interactions with other peroxisomal proteins could shed light on the broader regulatory mechanisms governing peroxisome dynamics and functionality. Thus, the study of recombinant PEX3 is essential for advancing our knowledge of peroxisomal biology and its implications in human health.
