Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
β-Catenin is a dual-function protein that plays a significant role in cell adhesion and the Wnt signaling pathway, making it a critical component in various biological processes such as development, cell differentiation, and tumorigenesis. Research on β-catenin has gained momentum due to its involvement in various cancers, particularly colorectal cancer, where mutations in the β-catenin gene lead to its aberrant accumulation and activation of Wnt target genes. Understanding the structure and function of β-catenin is essential for elucidating its complex regulatory mechanisms and interactions within the cellular environment. The production of recombinant β-catenin protein has emerged as a vital tool in studying its properties and biological roles. By utilizing techniques such as recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce β-catenin in substantial quantities for in vitro studies, enabling detailed analyses of its molecular interactions, post-translational modifications, and signaling pathways. Furthermore, recombinant β-catenin can be crucial for the development of targeted therapies and biomolecular probes that aim to modulate its activity in disease contexts. Through these investigations, insights into the dynamics of β-catenin can pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies and improve our understanding of cancers and developmental disorders associated with β-catenin dysregulation. Overall, the study of recombinant β-catenin protein is an essential endeavor in both basic and translational research, contributing to the broader field of molecular biology and oncology.
