Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSTA1, or glutathione S-transferase A1, is a crucial enzyme involved in the detoxification of electrophilic compounds and the maintenance of cellular redox balance. It plays a significant role in the conjugation of glutathione to a variety of substrates, including drugs, environmental toxins, and byproducts of metabolism. Research on GSTA1 has gained prominence due to its implications in drug metabolism, cancer progression, and individual susceptibility to various diseases. Notably, variations in GSTA1 gene expression and activity have been linked to differences in the efficacy and toxicity of chemotherapy agents, making it a critical target for pharmacogenomic studies. The recombinant production of GSTA1 protein allows for in-depth investigation of its biochemical properties, structural analyses, and interactions with potential inhibitors or substrates. This research not only provides insights into the fundamental roles of GSTA1 in biological systems but also aids in the development of therapeutic strategies that enhance drug responses and minimize adverse effects. Understanding GSTA1's function and regulation is essential for advancing personalized medicine, especially in cancer treatment, where tailoring therapies to individual genetic profiles can significantly improve clinical outcomes.
