Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HOXA5 is a member of the Homeobox gene family, which plays a crucial role in regulating developmental processes, including embryogenesis, cell differentiation, and organogenesis. It is primarily expressed during early development and is involved in the formation of various tissues, particularly in the lung and the heart. Research has shown that HOXA5 is not only vital for normal development but also plays significant roles in adult tissue homeostasis and repair. Moreover, HOXA5 has been implicated in various pathophysiological conditions, including cancer, where it can act as a tumor suppressor or promoter depending on the cellular context. The study and production of recombinant HOXA5 protein facilitate a deeper understanding of its molecular mechanisms, interactions, and potential therapeutic applications. By creating a well-characterized recombinant protein, researchers can explore HOXA5's roles in gene regulation, signal transduction pathways, and its potential as a biomarker or target in disease treatment. This research can lead to advancements in regenerative medicine and targeted cancer therapies, making HOXA5 a protein of considerable interest in biological and clinical research. Understanding its function at the molecular level could pave the way for novel strategies to manipulate its activity for therapeutic benefits.
