  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GNPI (Guanylate Nucleotide Binding Protein I) is a member of the guanylate-binding protein (GBP) family, which plays a crucial role in innate immunity and cellular defense mechanisms. These proteins are known for their involvement in various biological processes, including antiviral responses, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Research on GNPI has gained momentum due to its potential implications in disease mechanisms, particularly in the context of viral infections and immune responses. The ability of GNPI to bind guanosine triphosphate (GTP) and undergo conformational changes is essential for its function, making it a target for studying the regulation of immune signaling pathways. Additionally, the reconstitution of GNPI as a recombinant protein has proven to be a valuable tool for investigating its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to dissect its interactions with other cellular proteins and elucidate its role in the host defense system. Understanding GNPI's function at a molecular level may provide insights into new therapeutic strategies for treating infectious diseases and conditions associated with immune dysregulation. The exploration of GNPI's potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target highlights its significance in contemporary biomedical research, positioning it as a pivotal component in the quest to enhance immune responses against pathogens.
