Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIST1H2AK is a variant histone H2A that plays a crucial role in assembling and stabilizing nucleosomes, which are the fundamental units of chromatin structure in eukaryotic cells. The dynamic regulation of histone proteins, including HIST1H2AK, is essential for various cellular processes such as gene expression, DNA repair, and epigenetic regulation. Abnormalities in histone modifications or variants have been linked to numerous diseases, including cancer, where altered chromatin remodeling can promote oncogenic pathways. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of HIST1H2AK in maintaining genome integrity and influencing cell proliferation. Furthermore, its distinct post-translational modifications and interactions with other chromatin-related proteins suggest that it may have specialized functions in specific cellular contexts or responses to environmental cues. As a result, understanding the structural and functional properties of HIST1H2AK and its role in chromatin dynamics is vital for elucidating mechanisms underlying gene regulation and cellular differentiation, as well as for developing potential therapeutic strategies targeting histone modifications in diseases characterized by chromatin dysregulation. The study of HIST1H2AK recombinant proteins serves as a powerful tool in deciphering the complexities of chromatin biology, facilitating insights into how histone variants 'fine-tune' the epigenetic landscape and contribute to the overall regulation of gene expression.
