Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HNRPA2B1, a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including mRNA processing, splicing, and transport. The protein's functions are associated with the regulation of gene expression and RNA metabolism, making it an important subject of study in understanding cellular mechanisms and disease pathogenesis. Recent research has highlighted HNRPA2B1's involvement in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), where its misregulation or aggregation correlates with disease progression. Moreover, HNRPA2B1 has been implicated in the modulation of stress responses and the cellular response to DNA damage. The production and characterization of recombinant HNRPA2B1 protein facilitate the exploration of its structural and functional properties in vitro, allowing researchers to dissect its interactions with RNA and other proteins. This understanding is pivotal for elucidating its roles in RNA metabolism and its potential as a therapeutic target. By generating recombinant HNRPA2B1, studies can provide insights into how alterations in its function contribute to disease mechanisms, paving the way for future therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating hnRNP activity in neurodegenerative and other diseases.
