Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HIST1H1C, a member of the histone H1 family, plays a crucial role in the packaging and organization of DNA within the nucleus. Histone proteins are fundamental components of chromatin, which is essential for the regulation of gene expression, DNA replication, and repair. Research has increasingly focused on the role of variant histones in cellular processes, with modifications in histone proteins being linked to various diseases, including cancers. The study of HIST1H1C, in particular, has gained momentum due to its implications in epigenetic regulation, where alterations in its expression or function can lead to abnormal gene silencing or activation. Additionally, as a participant in higher-order chromatin structure, HIST1H1C may influence cell differentiation and proliferation. Investigations into its expression patterns and post-translational modifications could shed light on its specific functions and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in diseases characterized by disrupted epigenetic regulation. Given the complexity of chromatin dynamics, the generation of recombinant HIST1H1C proteins allows for detailed biophysical and biochemical studies, enhancing our understanding of its role in chromatin biology and disease mechanisms. Overall, the research surrounding HIST1H1C is integral to deciphering the intricate regulatory networks governing gene expression and offers promising avenues for developing interventions in epigenetically-driven disorders.
