Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HEXIM2 (HIV-1 Tat interactive protein 2) is a key regulator of various cellular processes, particularly in the context of transcriptional regulation and cellular response to oxidative stress. Initially identified as a protein that interacts with the HIV-1 Tat protein, HEXIM2 has been shown to play a critical role in modulating the activity of positive transcription elongation factor b (P-TEFb), which is essential for the transition of RNA polymerase II from transcription initiation to elongation. Research has highlighted its significance in several physiological and pathological contexts, including its involvement in cancer, neuronal development, and immune responses. The therapeutic potential of targeting HEXIM2 has garnered interest, as its modulation could influence the expression of genes involved in cell proliferation and apoptosis. The expression and functional analysis of recombinant HEXIM2 protein have been essential in elucidating its mechanisms of action. This research not only aids in understanding the basic biological functions of HEXIM2 but also paves the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to dysregulated transcriptional control. By studying the reconstituted protein's interactions and functional impacts in various cellular assays, researchers aim to further define its roles and explore its potential as a drug target in conditions characterized by aberrant transcriptional regulation.
