Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GATC recombinant proteins have garnered significant interest in biochemical and molecular biology research due to their role in various cellular processes and potential applications in biotechnology. GATC refers to a specific DNA sequence that contains the adenine nucleotide (A) methylated at the N6 position, which is characterized by the presence of guanine (G), adenine (A), thymine (T), and cytosine (C) in a particular order. This sequence is recognized by the Dam methyltransferase, an enzyme that plays a crucial role in DNA replication, repair, and gene expression regulation. The study of GATC recombinant proteins focuses on understanding the dynamics of DNA-protein interactions, the mechanisms of methylation and demethylation, and their implications in epigenetic modifications. Researchers are particularly interested in the potential therapeutic applications of manipulating GATC methylation patterns, as they may influence gene expression and cellular behavior in various diseases, including cancer. By expressing GATC-related proteins in recombinant systems, scientists can investigate their functional roles, enhance our understanding of genetic regulation, and explore novel approaches for gene editing and targeted therapies. This research is vital for unraveling the complexities of epigenetic regulation and developing innovative biotechnological applications, thereby contributing to advancements in medicine, agriculture, and synthetic biology.
