Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DODA (Dual-optimized Dipeptide Antibiotic) is a restructured peptide that has gained significant attention in the field of antimicrobial research due to the rising global threat of antibiotic resistance. Traditional antibiotics have become less effective against various bacterial infections, prompting the need for innovative therapeutic solutions. DODA's design is based on optimizing dipeptide structures to enhance their antibacterial properties while minimizing side effects. Researchers focus on its dual action mechanism, which not only targets bacterial cell walls but also interferes with crucial metabolic pathways within the bacteria. This multifaceted approach increases the efficacy of DODA against a broader spectrum of pathogens, including drug-resistant strains. Furthermore, the study of DODA includes exploration of its synthesis, stability, and bioavailability, which are crucial for its potential application in clinical settings. Current research efforts are centered on evaluating its safety and effectiveness through in vitro and in vivo studies, paving the way for future clinical trials. As the scientific community seeks new avenues to combat persistent infections, DODA represents a promising candidate in the search for next-generation antibiotics that could significantly impact public health outcomes.
