Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLK2 (Polo-like kinase 2) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, neuronal function, and apoptosis. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several diseases, particularly cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Research on PLK2 has gained significant attention due to its potential as a therapeutic target in oncology, where it may influence tumor growth and metastasis. The study of recombinant PLK2 proteins is vital to understand their structure, function, and interactions at a molecular level. By producing these proteins in vitro, scientists aim to elucidate the kinase's biochemical properties and its role in signaling pathways. Moreover, the availability of recombinant PLK2 allows for high-throughput screening of small molecule inhibitors that could modulate its activity, offering potential avenues for drug development. Understanding PLK2's mechanisms in cellular contexts not only advances basic science but also holds promise for clinical applications, making it a focus of ongoing research in the fields of molecular biology and pharmacology.
