Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLCN3 (Chloride Channel 3) is a member of the ClC chloride channel family, known for its role in chloride ion transport across cellular membranes. Understanding the function and regulation of CLCN3 is crucial due to its involvement in various physiological processes, including cell volume regulation, epithelial transport, and neuronal excitability. Abnormalities in CLCN3 activity have been implicated in several pathophysiological conditions, such as neurological disorders, hypertension, and certain types of cancer. Research focusing on the recombinant expression of CLCN3 has gained traction, as it allows for the detailed investigation of its biophysical properties, gating mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular components. By using recombinant protein techniques, scientists can facilitate high-yield production and subsequent characterization of CLCN3, aiding in the elucidation of its functional roles. Advances in structural biology methods, including X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, have further enabled the exploration of CLCN3 at a molecular level. This knowledge is pivotal for developing therapeutic strategies targeting CLCN3-related diseases and enhancing our understanding of chloride channel physiology in health and disease. Overall, the study of CLCN3 recombinant protein represents a significant step towards unraveling the complexities associated with chloride ion transport and its broader implications in human health.
