  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

GPSM1, or G-protein signaling modulator 1, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathways, which are essential for various physiological processes. Research on GPSM1 has gained attention in the context of cellular signaling, as it modulates G-protein activation and influences various downstream effects, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. This protein is particularly noteworthy because of its involvement in neurological functions and its potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases. Studies have indicated that alterations in GPSM1 expression or function may contribute to disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease and schizophrenia, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, GPSM1's role in cancer biology is also under investigation, as aberrant GPCR signaling has been linked to tumor progression and metastasis. Thus, understanding the molecular mechanisms of GPSM1 and its impact on G-protein signaling could provide valuable insights into both normal physiological processes and pathological conditions, highlighting the need for comprehensive research into its structure, function, and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target.
