Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPON1, or Spondin 1, is a secreted protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and the regulation of inflammation. This glycoprotein is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system and has been implicated in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative diseases. Research into SPON1 has gained traction due to its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target for conditions such as multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammation. The reconstitution of SPON1 into a recombinant protein format allows for detailed structural and functional studies, facilitating an understanding of its molecular mechanisms. Recombinant SPON1 has become a valuable tool for investigating its interactions with various cell types and extracellular matrix components, ultimately providing insights into its role in tissue repair and regeneration. Moreover, elucidating the signaling pathways influenced by SPON1 can contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in pathological conditions. Given the increasing interest in SPON1, ongoing research efforts aim to characterize its functional domains and explore its potential in clinical applications, thereby highlighting its significance in both basic and translational research in the fields of neurology and immunology.
