Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPR128, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, has garnered considerable interest in the field of biomedical research due to its potential roles in various physiological processes and diseases. As a receptor that is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system, GPR128 has been implicated in the modulation of neurodevelopment and neurological disorders. Its unique expression patterns suggest a specific involvement in brain function and possibly in the regulation of mood, cognition, and behavior. Recent studies have illuminated its role in cellular signaling pathways, which could offer insights into therapeutic targets for diseases such as depression and schizophrenia. Additionally, GPR128's interactions with other signaling molecules underscore its importance in the complex network of GPCR-mediated functions. As research progresses, the generation of recombinant GPR128 protein will be crucial for elucidating its structural characteristics and functional properties, paving the way for drug discovery and development. Understanding the mechanisms of GPR128 action at a molecular level could ultimately lead to novel therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of neurological disorders and enhancing brain health.
