稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LEDGF (Lens Epithelium-Derived Growth Factor) is a multifunctional protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cellular stress response, DNA repair, and gene transcription. It is particularly known for its involvement in the integration of retroviral DNA into the host genome, primarily facilitating the integration of lentiviruses, such as HIV. The study of LEDGF has gained significant importance in the context of HIV research, as understanding its function could provide insights into viral pathogenesis and potential therapeutic strategies. LEDGF acts as a cofactor for the integrase enzyme of HIV, helping to target viral DNA to actively transcribed regions of the host genome, which significantly enhances viral replication. Moreover, LEDGF's ability to bind to chromatin and influence transcriptional activities underscores its potential role in oncogenesis and cellular differentiation. Research into LEDGF has expanded to explore its implications in other diseases, including cancer, where its overexpression has been linked to tumor progression and poor prognosis. The development of LEDGF inhibitors and research on its structural properties and binding mechanisms continue to be of great interest, with the potential to lead to novel antiviral treatments and cancer therapies. Overall, the study of LEDGF not only sheds light on the fundamental mechanisms of viral infections but also opens pathways for innovative interventions in both infectious diseases and malignancies.
