Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PEBP4, or Phytocannabinoid Enhancer Protein 4, is a member of the phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein (PEBP) family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell signaling and plant development. Recent research has highlighted PEBP4's potential functionality in enhancing the stability and activity of phytocannabinoids, compounds derived from cannabis that have garnered significant interest for their therapeutic properties. The functional diversity of PEBP proteins, particularly in relation to their interactions with specific ligands, makes them attractive targets for biotechnological applications. Studies suggest that PEBP4 may influence plant responses to environmental stresses, potentially linking abiotic stress tolerance to phytocannabinoid biosynthesis. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning PEBP4's activity could not only provide insights into its biological role but also facilitate the development of engineered plant systems with optimized cannabinoid production. Additionally, the recombinant expression of PEBP4 presents opportunities for further functional assessments and the exploration of its interaction with other metabolic pathways, thereby contributing to the broader field of plant biotechnology and pharmaceutical research. Overall, the study of PEBP4 and its recombinant protein forms may pave the way for novel applications in agricultural and therapeutic contexts.
