稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PICALM ( phosphatidylinositol binding clathrin-AP180 interacting protein) is a crucial protein involved in intracellular trafficking and synaptic function. It plays a significant role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis, a process essential for the recycling of synaptic vesicles and the regulation of neurotransmitter release. Research has shown that PICALM is linked to Alzheimer’s disease, as genetic variations affecting its expression may influence the accumulation of amyloid-beta plaques in the brain. This connection has spurred interest in studying PICALM as a potential therapeutic target for neurodegenerative diseases. The recombinant production of PICALM allows for detailed structural and functional analyses, enabling scientists to investigate its role in synaptic mechanisms and its interactions with other proteins involved in endocytosis. Understanding PICALM's function at a molecular level can provide insights into its pathological implications and how altering its pathways may offer new strategies for treatment. Overall, the research surrounding PICALM and its recombinant protein is motivated by its significant implications in neuronal health and disease, making it a focal point for ongoing studies aimed at elucidating the molecular underpinnings of cognitive decline and developing innovative therapeutic approaches.
