Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPC2 (glypican-2) is an heparan sulfate proteoglycan that plays a significant role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and tumorigenesis, particularly in the context of neurodevelopmental processes. Its expression is notably elevated in various pediatric tumors, including neuroblastoma, which has prompted extensive research into GPC2 as a therapeutic target. The study of GPC2 recombinant proteins has become increasingly important, as these proteins can be utilized in immunotherapy and targeted treatment approaches. By generating GPC2 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to enhance the understanding of GPC2's biological functions and its interactions with cells and the extracellular matrix. These recombinant proteins can be used to develop specific antibodies or assess potential therapeutic vaccines, which may significantly improve treatment outcomes for patients with tumors expressing high levels of GPC2. Additionally, the investigation of GPC2's role in tumor microenvironments could reveal new insights into tumor progression and metastasis, aiding in the design of innovative intervention strategies. Overall, the research on GPC2 recombinant proteins is paving the way for novel diagnostic and therapeutic avenues in cancer treatment, particularly for aggressive childhood cancers, thereby enhancing the prospects for more effective and personalized medical care.
